Trident Literacy Association offers WorkKeys Career Readiness Skills training. Many local employers are looking for people with WorkKeys certification!
WorkKeys is a job skills assessment system that measures “real world” skills that employers believe are critical to job success. It measures three key areas:
- Reading for information
- Applied math
- Locating information
When you pass the WorkKeys test, you earn a Career Readiness Certificate certifying that you have the core employability skills required across multiple industries and occupations.
You can achieve one of three levels:
WorkKeys has profiled over 1,000 jobs in South Carolina, identifying the skills and WorkKeys levels you must have to perform successfully. About 250 employers use WorkKeys to hire and promote.
